How it happened:

The children wanted to make a museum early 2007 on 'Tiere In Meer' (Animals in the Sea)
Paper mache fish and other items were made as a fun family project. It was then decided to use the building hobby room to host the Museum and have some friends and school classes down to look at the work. The children (and parents) were enjoying the project, more ideas and items were added and finally it was made open to the public over a 2 week period. It now had: paintings , information boards, fish questionaire, pictures for coloring in, a shop for fish related items, home made biscuits (fish shapes of course), a school of fish (photos of class mates on exhibit fish) and fish exhibits. This was a success and an invitation to have the exhibition on public display in the Natur Museum, Luzern was offered for summer 2008.

To mark this familly event, a childrens book 'The Making of the Museum' was make by Katharina and is also on on display in the exhibition. More fish have been made, the original exhibits have been renovated, and a fish alphabet has been added to compliment the fish school.
